The steps are detailed below and most communication will be done using email. This will reduce the risk of spelling mistakes and misunderstandings. However, in some circumstances it may be useful to discuss some details over the phone.
Once we have received all details from you we expect to be able to return the completed forms back to you within a matter of days. You can then proceed to get signatures from the interested parties.

The steps to your LPA is as easy as 1 – 2 – 3
| 1 | The starting point is when you contact us expressing an interest in our services |
| 2 | We will be in touch to understand your requirements |
| 3 | If you wish to proceed, we will take a commitment fee of £50 for each LPA. |
| 4 | You will need an account at the government portal and provide these details to us so that we can create the relevant LPA. If you do not have an account you can create one for free using the link above. |
| 5 | We will then request additional information (see below) for each LPA that you wish to make and explain each role and the implications of some of the choices you will have to make when creating an LPA application – Donor details – Certificate provider details – Attorney details and how they should make decisions – Witness details if known – Your express wishes for how the LPA should be carried out |
| 6 | On payment of the balance for each LPA we will complete the necessary forms and ask you to confirm that all the details of named persons are correct. |
| 7 | If you are eligible for reduced fees to OPG we will also work with you to complete form LPA120, this will need to be signed by you and included with the LPA application. |
| 8 | We will provide a printed copy of each LPA for signature. We will also provide instructions regarding the signing and witnessing of each LPA. |
| 9 | You will then return each signed LPA to us for final checks before the application is submitted to OPG. If there are any amendments required then we will highlight these to you, this may require reprinting and resigning the affected pages. |
| 10 | Once everything is in order we can either return them to you to send the application to OPG along with the registration fee, or alternatively We can organise posting the application and would require you provide a cheque made out to the OPG for the necessary registration fee. Either way, we recommend using registered post. When your application has been validated and registered by the OPG we suggest you change the password on your account to ensure that you alone have sole access. Please note that the registration process can take up to 20 weeks. |
