- Create an account on the government portal and do it yourself. This is a feasible option and can be readily done by someone who is organised and methodical. Costs are then simply the OPG application fees to register each LPA. Bear in mind that any mistakes with the application could mean additional/repeat costs.
- Choose the LPA Agency and benefit from low setup fees and full pre-validation of your information. This seamless process will use your LPA account to set everything up on your behalf.
- Choose one of many solicitors offering the service who have a great deal of legal experience. Bear in mind that legal experience is not essential to register an LPA and can be very expensive with costs which can be 3 to 4 times that offered by the LPA Agency.
